C55 (C55S) Cold Rolled Steel

Produced in cold-rolled and annealed form, C55 steel is available in two different mechanical property scales, commonly referred to as hardened and cold-rolled. The material in its non-heat-treated state is called cold-rolled, while the heat-treated state is called hardened. Initially named C55 according to the DIN/German standard, it was later renamed C55S according to the European Norm with the same technical specifications.

Technical Specifications of C55S Grade Cold-Rolled Steel
