420 (1.4021) Stainless Steel
420 Grade Stainless Spring Steel Strip is a type of stainless steel with a martensitic microstructure and contains 12.0-14.0% Cr (Chromium). According to the EN standard, 420 grade stainless spring steels are referred to as 1.4021 or X20Cr13. However, outside the EN standard, they are also known in the market as SAE/AISI 420. Due to the chromium content being above 12%, the chromium oxide layer covering the surface of the material gives it stainless properties. 420 Grade Stainless Steel materials, which have high hardness values (45-51 HRc), have average levels of corrosion and wear resistance.
Technical Specifications of 420 Grade Stainless Spring Steel
420 Grade Stainless Spring Steel Strips are widely used in the market due to their high heat treatment capability, magnetic properties, and high elasticity.
Features of 420 Grade Stainless Spring Steel
