301 (1.4310) Stainless Steel
301 Grade Stainless Spring Steel Strip is a type of stainless steel with an austenitic microstructure and contains 16-19% Cr (Chromium) and 6-9.5% Ni (Nickel). According to the EN standard, 301 grade stainless spring steels are referred to as 1.4310 or X10CrNi18-8. However, outside the EN standard, they are also known in the market as AISI 301, SUS301, SS301, or X12CrNi17-7. Due to the chromium content being above 12%, the chromium oxide layer covering the surface of the material gives it stainless properties.
It is a steel grade with high resistance to corrosion and wear.
